Paramore singer Hayley Williams has revealed she was introduced to Twilight star Robert Pattinson during a candle lit interview.
The pair met last year to discuss whether the band could contribute songs to the soundtrack to the first Twilight film.
"It was really funny because they set it up as if we had known each other for years but we'd just met,” she told BBC Newsbeat.
“I realised, we did the interview and it was kind of awkward and once we were out of the interview and we were just hanging out it was totally cool.
"It's just strange that cameras and Hollywood stuff, it's a new world for us - we've never been a part of it."
Paramore ended up contributing two songs – 'Decode' and 'I Caught Myself' – to the score for the vampire film, which was released last year.
Williams' bandmate, Josh Farro, admitted that the band did not have “any idea” about how big Twilight would become.
"It's really cool to look back,” he said. “We didn't do it to be this massive thing for us we were just going to have fun on a movie."
As previously reported on Gigwise, the soundtrack for the sequel to Twilight, New Moon, will feature songs by Muse, Thom Yorke and Editors.
The film and soundtrack are released in November. You can see the full tracklist here.
