- More Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson wanted to visit the children who savagely murdered James Bulger to tell them he loved them.
The King of Pop made the revelations during taped interviews with his close friend Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, the transcripts of which are now being published in a book in the US.
Jon Venables and Robert Thompson abducted and murdered James Bulger in Liverpool in 1993 when they were just 10-years-old.
Despite their awful crime, Jacko wanted to visit them and give them “a hug” believing that children aren't capable of evil and their upbringing was to blame.
Jackson, who mistakenly thought Venables and Thompson were from London, said he had an argument with his then wife Lisa Marie Presley over his wish to visit the killers.
According to The Sun, Jackson said: “She had a fight with me one time when two little boys in London killed this other kid and I was going to visit them 'cause the Queen gave them adult sentencing of life.
“These were like eleven and ten-year-old boys and I was going to go to prison to visit them.
“She said 'You idiot – you're just rewarding them for what they did.'
“I said: 'How dare you say that. I bet if you trace their life you can find out they didn't have parents around, they didn't have love, nobody to hold them, look in their eyes and say I love you.'
“They deserve that even though they're going to get life. I just want to say 'I love you' and hold them.”
As reported earlier today, Jackson also dubbed Adolf Hitler a “genius orator” during the same interviews.
- Sorry but thats sick if true. He wanted to say 'I love you' to two killers....you complete twat, how about the feelings of James Bulgers family.
- Proving Jacko thought he was Jesus!
- "According to the Sun...."
- I wish more people in this world acted more Christ like. Michael Jackson loved everyone unconditionally. It was a strength that unfortunately too few people possess. Not only was he a genius musically but he had a lot to teach the world about true, pure love.
- Poor guy, his problem was that he was just so kind, he didn´t believe people are just simply bad sometimes.
I admire Michael Jackson, he cared about everybody, without judging. That is how we all should be about others, and humanity could begin being a better place.
