The Enemy are to headline the Hogmanay street party in Edinburgh on December 31.

The Coventry trio will be joined by a host of new Scottish bands, including Frightened Rabbit and We Were Promised Jet Packs.

The Cuban Brothers will also appear, while Mylo and members of Snow Patrol are set to DJ at the event.

Edinburgh's Hogmanay celebrations are topped this year by Madness, who will play the Concert in the Gardens.

Pet Shp Boys, Kasabian and Groove Armada have played the event in past years.
