Matthew Herbert plans to raise and slaughter a pig and use its bones to make a flute.
The electronic musician is also drafting in celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal to help him cook the pig's HEAD.
Herbert told FACT Magazine: "(The pig) will be cooked. The head by Heston Blumenthal, who will have a banquet. The bones will be turned into a flute on which to play.”
He then hopes to use the said flute as an instrument on his next studio record, adding: "I don't actually think that music has to be unpleasant or unlistenable to be challenging,"
The 37-year-old went on to explain that he feels duty bound to experiment with different sounds and make bizarre instruments.
"That is what my work is about - it is the artist's responsibility to make connections, no matter how absurd they are and where they lead us."
