Swedish death metal veterans Opeth have announced a Royal Albert Hall show next April as part of a global mini tour.
As well as the hallowed London venue, the band will play shows in Stockholm, Essen, Paris, New York and Los Angeles to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
All venues on the jaunt have been carefully selected for their unique atmosphere and relative intimacy.
Each show will clock in at over two hours and will consist of two sets – the first will see them perform their 2001 album 'Blackwater Park' in its entirety, while the second will be a career spanning collection of songs.
Tickets for the Royal Albert Hall show go on sale via the Gigwise Gig Tickets section at 9am on Monday (December 7).
They play:
Stockholm Cirkus – March 30
Essen Lichtburg – April 1
Paris Bataclan – 3
London Royal Albert Hall – 5
New York Terminal 5 - 7
Los Angeles The Wiltern – 9
