A second major bookmakers has slashed the odds on Rage Against The Machine scoring the Christmas number one.
William Hill cut the odds of 'Killing In The Name' from 3/1 to 5/4 following one of the biggest Christmas chart punts in their history. Earlier in the month they listed the single at 100/1.
Conversely, Joe McElderry's odds have been lengthened to 4/7 from 1/5.
Spokesman Rupert Adams said: "It is a straight fight between the X Factor and 'Rage Against The Machine' and my bosses will be in a serious rage if the X Factor does not win."
Earlier today Ladbrokes listed 'Killing In The Name' as favourite at 8/11 on compared to evens for 'The Climb.'
The odds slashing follow the news that Rage's single has been downloaded 65,000 more times than McElderry.
Almost £40,000 has been raised for homeless charity Shelter since Tracy and Jon Morter started the Facebook group. You can make a pledge HERE.
