- More Ellie Goulding
Brit Award winner Ellie Goulding has unveiled details of her debut album.
The singer, who scoops the Brits' Critics Choice award at the Brits ceremony next month, will release the album 'Lights' on March 1st through Polydor.
The record will be preceded by the single 'Starry Eyed' on February 22 and also features the tracks 'Wish I Stayed', 'Guns And Horses', 'The Writer', 'Under The Sheets' and 'Every Time You Go', according to NME.com.
The 22-year-old told the site: "I spent the majority of my time recording this album in my producer Starsmith's bedroom in Bromley.
“It's made up of songs that all started on a guitar over a period of about two years. A number of the songs vent romantic victories and failures.
She continued: "One of the first songs I ever wrote, 'Wish I Stayed', is there, a song about leaving the countryside, which still pains me. The acceptance of living in London and attaining peace of mind led to tracks like 'Starry Eyed', because I could finally write something more fun."
