Simon Cowell has drafted in Mariah Carey and Miley Cyrus for his charity single raising money for the earthquake ravaged Haiti.
The two singers – who have previously both appeared on Simon Cowell's The X Factor – join a charity line-up that already features Leona Lewis, Cheryl Cole, JLS and Alexandra Burke.
As previously reported, the artists will record a Band Aid-esque version of R.E.M.'s 1993 classic 'Everybody Hurts'.
Michael Stipe and co. said they were “deeply touched” their song had been chosen and announced they would waive all royalties.
Simon Cowell today told The Sun: "We're getting there. We have had an incredible amount of support.
"It's amazing these great singers are clearing their schedules to make this happen.”
All proceeds from the charity single will go to The Sun's Helping Haiti fund and the official Disasters Emergency Committee.
