Michael Jackson's father Joe has accused more people of being involved in his son's death during an appearance on US television.
His comments came just hours after Michael's former doctor Conrad Murray pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter at a Los Angeles court.
The singer's personal physician stands accused of "unlawfully, and without malice, killing Michael Joseph Jackson".
Appearing on Larry King Live, Joe said Dr Murray was “just the fall guy” in his son's sudden death last June.
“There's other people I think involved with this whole thing," he said.
Michael's sister La Toya also released a statement after court hearing.
The singer's father, who endured a tumultous relationship with his son, also claimed Michael had said himself that “he would be killed”.
"He even told his kids that he would be murdered,” Joe added.
In a statement, Michael's sister La Toya also claimed “there are other individuals involved”.
Dr Murray entered his plea during a short court hearing in Los Angeles yesterday (February 8).
A judge must now decide if the case is to go to trial. If found guilty, Dr Murray faces up to four years in prison.
He has been bailed for $75,000 - a quarter of the sum prosecutors originally requested.
