BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend is to be held in Wales for the first time, it's been announced.
The free ticketed event will take place at Faenol Park in Bagnor on May 22 and 23.
Details about how to register for tickets and information about this year's line-up will be announced shortly.
In previous years, Big Weekend has taken place in Dundee, Sunderland and most recently Swindon, which featured performances from Lily Allen and Kasabian.
In addition to the Main Stage, the event also boasts an In New Music We Trust Stage, BBC Introducing Stage and Outdoor Stage.
Twenty-thousand tickets a day will be available for this year's festival in Faenol Park.
