Arcade Fire 'Team Up With Spike Jonze For Short Film'

Arcade Fire are working with director Spike Jonze on a short film, it's been reported.

Jonze, whose credits include Where The Wild Things Are, is said to be casting for the secret project in Austin Texas.

According to /Film, the film tells the story of “friends growing apart”.

Arcade Fire are currently putting the finishing touches to their third studio album, which is expected later this year.

Jonze recently collaborated with Kanye West on the short film, We Were Once A Fairytale.

The director also used Arcade Fire's 2004 hit 'Wake Up' on the trailer for last year's Where The Wild Things Are.
