- More The Beatles
John Lennon's handwritten lyrics for The Beatles classic 'A Day In The Life' are expected to fetch a massive $700,000 when they go under the hammer in New York this summer.
Sotheby's in New York will put the double sided piece of paper complete with lyrics and amendments in red pen on June 18th.
The song, rated as the 26th greatest of all time by Rolling Stone magazine, is the rousing finale of The Beatles' classic 1967 album 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.'
Promoting the lyric sheet sale, Sotheby's calls 'A Day In The Life' "the revolutionary song that marked the Beatles' transformation from pop icons to artists".

In October 2009 Rammstein issued this ultra-limited edition box set of their new album 'Liebe ist für Alle da' ('Love Is There For Everyone'). Somewhat aptly considering the record's title, it's packed with six pink dildos of various sizes, handcuffs and lubricant. A true box of delights.
