Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler has said he is “Really excited” about the band's new album 'The Suburbs'.
The 16-track LP, which is due to be released on August 2, was produced by Markus Dravs.
In an interview with zanelowe.com, Butler said the group didn't really have a plan before they started recording the album.
But he admitted that he was happy with how the follow-up to 2007's 'Neon Bible' turned out.
“Usually by the time we finish a record I never want to hear it again, and this one I found myself actually wanting to list to [it]. I'm really excited with how it came how.”
Arcade Fire are set to play a one-off show at the Hackney Empire in London tonight. Gigwise will have a full gig report after the concert.
