Festival-goers attending the Reading and Leeds festivals this weekend have been warned to expect a mixture of sunshine and showers.
The event takes place at sites in both Reading and Leeds from Friday (August 27) until Sunday (29).
A Met Office spokeswoman told Gigwise Reading festival-goers could expect the better conditions over the course of the three day festival.
“Although you still may see the odd shower at times it will be drier with sunny intervals,” the spokeswoman said, adding that temperatures would reach highs of around 21 degrees.
In Leeds, there will be more light rain around on Friday and Saturday, although sunny spells are still expected throughout the weekend.
Temperatures will reach a maximum of 19 degrees in the day and 9 degrees at night on Friday.
The festival will be headlined by Guns N' Roses, Arcade Fire and Blink-182. Gigwise will be covering both legs of the event.
