Noel Gallagher has put plans to release a solo album on hold as he awaits the arrival of his second child with girlfriend Sara MacDonald.
The former Oasis guitarist had been expected to begin work on a new project following his departure from the band last year.
But he told BBC News: "I'm moving house and my missus is nine months pregnant so I'm not doing anything until well into next year.
"I'll be doing nappies and all that malarkey."
Gallagher's brother and former bandmate Liam is currently putting the finishing touches to his first album with new band Beady Eye.
The group includes the majority of Oasis's line-up minus Noel. The as-yet-untitled LP is due to be released early next year.
On Wednesday, Gallagher launched an attack against showbiz culture, claiming it wasn't as good as it used to be.
