Kanye West debuted a new song as he performed at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Los Angeles.
The rapper played ‘Runaway’ at the conclusion of last night’s ceremony at the Nokia Theatre.
Appearing along on stage, the performance was a marked difference to West’s appearance at last year’s event, when he stormed the stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech.
Neglecting to mention the incident last night, the rapper performed using an 808 drum machine and was later accompanied by MC Pusha T.
The lyrics to ‘Runaway’ included: "I always find something wrong/ You been putting up with my sh*t way too long.
"I'm so gifted at finding what I don't like the most."

The track is also the name of the rapper’s forthcoming movie, which will accompany his new album’s release in November.
Earlier in the day, West had dedicated his appearance the VMAs to his mother, who died in 2008.
“I wish my Mom was here but I know she's looking down. I want to make her so happy today,” he wrote on Twitter.
Swift was also performed the song ‘Innocent' at last night's ceremony, which alluded to West’s outburst in 2009.
