Video Stars: Little Comets - 'Isles'

With 2011 on the horizon, the search for next year’s must-see acts is now well and truly underway. Hailing from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, Little Comets are a four-piece that should be on everyone’s watchlist.

The group have just finished recording their debut album (mixed by Richy Costey) and next month release the single ‘Isles’ as a taster of what to expect. An eloquent ode to Britain in 2010 (“terror on the pavement, panic in the streets”), ‘Isles’ is infectious from the outset, combining intelligent and rhythmic guitar parts with hypnotic strings.
