Diddy has revealed that David Beckham and Wayne Rooney are both honorary members of his collective, Diddy Dirty Money.
The rapper said he had recruited the footballers along with Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders.
He also said he wanted to make music with Beckham to help him overcome the recent reports about his private life.
"I'll always be there for my friend, he's my homie,” Diddy told the Daily Mirror. "David Beckham is like family. I already got him in the Diddy Dirty Money crew, with Matt Helders from the Arctic Monkeys.
"We had to give him a secret name, Rufus. So we'll have to get Becks a stage name too. Wayne Rooney's part of the clique too."
Diddy Dirty Money officially includes the rapper and the singers Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper. The group played a one-off show in Glasgow this week.
