Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler has revealed that he regularly prays to God that the band will one day reunite with their original line-up.
Adler said he “really” wanted a reunion with his former bandmates and that they “owe it to the fans”.
Guns N' Roses began to fall apart in the 1990s and, at present, singer Axl Rose is the only original member still in the band.
In an interview with the Dalton Daily Citizen, Adler said: “I put prayers in with Jesus and God all the time. ‘Please just go talk to Axl,’ I say.
“I love the stuff we did together in my heart and my soul. It needs to be taken out of the shell and put back in the world. Two generations of people have already missed it. I think it’s unfair.”
He added: “I love those five guys — they mean more to me than anyone except my grandmother and my dogs. But there was so much fighting all the time (in GNR), but like my grandpa said, time heals all wounds. My wounds are healed.”
As previously reported on Gigwise, Guns N' Roses performed in the UK last night (October 13) for the first time since their controversial appearance at this summer's Reading and Leeds festivals.
They appearance has been praised by fans.
