Robbie Williams has claimed that Take That “might have to get our arses out again” if their new album is to reach number one.
The group, who reunited with Williams earlier this year, are due to release ‘Progress’ on November 22.
But the album is due to go up against boy band JLS’s new effort, in a battle being dubbed as “Super Monday”.
In order to come out on top, Williams said Take That might look to their 1991 debut single ‘Do What U Like’ for inspiration, which featured a semi-naked video.
“If all else fails, nakedness in Trafalgar Square,” he told the Daily Star.
“We might have to get our arses out again. It’s going to be an interesting week. JLS are great. When my last album came out and I was No 2 and they were No 1, I gave them a bell and congratulated them.
“So if the reverse happens, they have my number now.”
Take That's album is preceded by the single 'The Flood', which debuted last week.
Meanwhile, Williams’ greatest hits collection ‘In And Out Of Consciousness: The Greatest Hits 1990-2010’ is on course to top the UK album chart this weekend.
