Lady Gaga has spoken about the recording process for her new album 'Born This Way'.
The singer discussed the follow-up to her debut LP 'The Fame' and its sequel 'The Fame Monster' with fans at a recent concert in Norway.
Addressing the crowd, she said that she had been working on the forthcoming effort at a local studio in Oslo.
“There was this really beautiful piano, so I've been writing all the songs on piano first and then we build the track and instrumentation and orchestrate it together,” Lady Gaga said.
“It's a really special thing. People say to me, 'Why don't you wait until the tour is over to finish your album?'
“And I say, first of all, my fans are not going to wait that long – I have to keep my fans happy first and foremast. But secondly because I get so much inspiration every night when I get to be here with you and then after the show I drink a bottle of whisky and I get sh*t wasted.”
'Born This Way' is due to be released in the new year. Lady Gaga is currently on the latest European leg of her Monster Ball world tour.
