Lady Gaga Meat Dress Becomes Halloween Hit

Lady Gaga's infamous meat dress has become the most sought after Halloween outfit in the US, according to reports.

Butchers in New York have apparently been inundated by requests from shoppers keen to re-create the outfit.

Lady Gaga debuted the dress, which was sourced from around 50lbs of raw meat, at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.

Ben Turley, the owner of NYC’s Brooklyn Kitchen, told the Daily Mail that fans would have to pay up to $2,000 to create the perfect replica.

But he warned: “The dress is going to get wet and really smelly.”

As previously reported on Gigwise, Lady Gaga came under fire from animal rights groups over the outfit, which has now been archived.
