Lady Gaga 'Requested 24 Hour Protection At Irish Gigs'

Lady Gaga requested around the clock protection ahead of her shows in Dublin, Ireland, it's been reported.

The singer, who is playing three nights at the city's O2 venue, apparently asked for a 24-hour security team to keep any overzealous fans away.

“She takes no chances when it comes to security and likes to feel protected at all times," an insider told the Belfast Telegraph.

"Some fans are a bit over the top and send her lots of violent messages which have scared her in the past."

The newspaper also claims that Lady Gaga also requested a bikram yoga and Pilates expert to be on call around the clock.

The singer is currently in the middle of the latest European leg of her Monster Ball tour, which is due to return to the UK this December.
