The odds on Pulp headlining next year's Glastonbury Festival have now been slashed, bookmakers have said.
The group recently announced that they would reform in their original line-up for a number of summer gigs.
Yesterday (November 9) the band's odds to headline Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage were 10/1, now after a surge of cash William Hill have slashed the price to 5/2.
William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly said: ''The amount of money that we have seen has been quite astonishing and it would lead us to think that a headline slot is certainly within reach for the Sheffield rockers.''
