Shaun Ryder, Stacey Solomon Do Battle For I'm A Celebrity Crown

Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder has reached the final of I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

The singer, who has proved to be a surprise hit, will face former X Factor contestant Stacey Solomon in the final.

Ryder has entertained viewers with his carefree outbursts, which have included labeling Gillian McKeith a “daft old bat”, and was also bitten by a snake.

The singer is 6/1 with booker makers Williams Hill to take the title, while Solomon remains favourite at 1/12.

Ryder pulled out of a UK tour with Gorillaz in order to take part in the reality show. He said he was initially unsure about appearing, but was persuaded by his wife and children.
