Jack Black and Forgetting Sarah Marshall star Jason Segel are set to release their own Christmas single.
The pair, who appear in the new 'Gulliver's Travels', have recorded a version of the Bing Crosby and David Bowie classic 'Little Drummer Boy'.
''It was very mellow when they did it and it took some imagination and some heavy instrumentation, some power drums, some electric guitar, the obvious things that you use for rockification,'' Black told Spinner.com.
He added: ''He's (Segel) playing David Bowie's character; embodying David Bowie's soul, but I'm singing David Bowie's melody. He looks like Bowie, but he sounds like Bing and me the vice versa."
Meanwhile, The Kooks, Suggs of Madness and Orbital have recorded a silent song in an attempt to prevent the X Factor from dominating this year's Christmas chart.
