I'm A Celebrity finalists Shaun Ryder and Stacey Soloman are set to release a new version of the Christmas classic 'Fairytale Of New York, it has been reported.
The pair will cover the 1987 hit made famous by The Pogues. Ryder believes they can make it to the Christmas top spot beating this year's X Factor winner Matt Cardle.
''We’re thinking 'Fairytale Of New York'. We probably shouldn’t because the original is so good. But you can’t help meddling,” Ryder told the BBC.
Meanwhile, fans of Biffy Clyro have launched a bid to make the band’s ‘Many Of Horror’ Christmas number one.
Cardle is already favourite to take the top spot after his rendition of the Scottish band's song, retitled 'When We Collide', sold 112,000 copies on the first day.
