Suze Rotolo, a former girlfriend of Bob Dylan, has died at the age of 67.
Rotolo was the influence behind many of the singer's most famous love songs and also appeared on the cover to his 1963 album, 'The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan'.
Village Voice critic Him Hoberman said she died in her apartment in New York in the arms of her husband of 40 years, Enzo Bartoccioli".
Dylan and Rotolo met aged 17 and remained together for three years, reports BBC News.
In 2008, she released the memoir, A Freewheelin' Tim, which depicted life in the city's Greenwich Village in the 1960s.
