Katy Perry Sues Magazine Over Affair Claims

Katy Perry is suing an Australian magazine after they claimed that she had an affair after marrying Russell Brand, it has been revealed.

The singer is suing NW magazine for a six-figure sum after they claimed that Perry had an ‘intimate relationship’ with record producer Benny Blanco, reports MTV.

The producer worked on her number one hits ‘California Gurls’ and ‘Teenage Dream’.

NW magazine ran the headline, World Exclusive: Katy’s Other Man—Split Fears After Shock Revelation, saying that the affair happened soon after her marriage to comedian Russell Brand last October.

A statement from Perry said: "By reason of the publication of the article the plaintiff (Perry) has been gravely injured in her reputation and feelings (and) has suffered distress, embarrassment and humiliation."

Meanwhile, Rihanna has revealed that she didn't like friend Katy Perry's husband Russell Brand when she first met him.
