Lily Allen Still Bookies Favourite To Become X Factor Judge

Lily Allen is the bookies favourite to become a judge on The X Factor, despite playing down reports linking her to the position.

Tabloid reports at the weekend said Allen and Take That singer Gary Barlow had agreed to come on board for the next series, which begins later this year.

But Allen responded to the reports on Twitter, telling her followers that nothing had been confirmed.

However, book makers William Hill still have the singer has the 7/4 favourite to be unveiled as a new judge, with Barlow at 2/1 and Katy Perry at 6/1.

Spokesman Joe Crilly told Gigwise: “Lily has attempted to rule herself out of the running for the job, but we think that the X-Factor bigwigs will pull out all the stops in order to get her on the show.”

Robbie Williams and Sharon Osbourne have also been linked to the post.
