My Chemical Romance, 30 Seconds To Mars Lead Kerrang Awards 2011 Nominations

My Chemical Romance and 30 Seconds To Mars are among the nominees for this year's Kerrang Awards.

The band, fronted by Gerard Way, picked up a total of five nominations including Best Album, Best International Band, Best Video, Best Single and Best Live act.

My Chemical Romance said: ''The UK has always been one of our favorite places to play as band, and we are so grateful for these nominations and the continued support from Kerrang!, it's readers and our fans. Thank you for the recognition and we hope to see you this summer."

30 Seconds To Mars are in the running for Best Album and Best International Band alongside Avenged Sevenfold, Paramore and All Time Low.

You Me At Six, The Blackout, Enter Shikari, Bullet For My Valentine and Bring Me The Horizon are battling it out for Best British Band.

The 2011 Kerrang! Awards will take place in London on June 9.
