A New York business group has expressed concern of rioting when Metallica play the Yankee Stadium next month.
The heavy metal band are set to perform at the venue on September 14.
161st Street BID Executive Director Cary Goodman said he was worried that fans who have not secured tickets to the gig might become violent.
It follows riots after Metallica's gigs in Columbia and Chile over the last 12 months.
Goodman told the New York Post: "When I read about disturbances and riots, I thought, 'Why don't we think proactively and put up a big screen in Macombs Dam Park?'”
He said the band's management company had yet to respond to his suggestion, but added that he had also requested a heightened police presence.
