Jedward Second Favourite To Win Eurovision 2011

Jedward are second favourites to win this weekend's Eurovision Song Contest.

The twins – real names John and Edward Grimes – made it through the semi-finals on Thursday (May 12) with their Irish entry, 'Lipstick'.

Bookmakers William Hill have now given them odds of 11/4 from 25/1 to win the competition, with France the 6/4 favourites.

The United Kingdom's entry Blue are 10/1 to win.

Spokesman Rupert Adams told Gigwise: “Over the years there have been some great gambles on the Eurovision but none to match ‘Jedmania’.

“Both home nations are genuine contenders but a Jedward victory would spark a seven figure payout and we are desperate to see them topple.”

Meanwhile, punters can also get odds of 6/1 of Jedward falling unintentionally during their performance, as well as splitting up before the end of the year (33/1).

Jedward are 100/1 to shave their heads before the Eurovision final in Düsseldorf, Germany on Saturday (May 14).
