Hard-Fi have admitted that their new single 'Good For Nothing' was inspired by Jay-Z's '99 Problems', following much speculation from fans.
Singer Richard Archer said he wrote the song while listening to the rapper's track, but that the band had made “enough changes not to be sued”.
“When I wrote the tune, I wrote the tune to '99 Problems'. That was the sample I sued just to get it off the ground, so that's why it probably sounds a lot like '99 Problems'," he told BBC Newsbeat.
'Good For Nothing' will be released on June 19, followed by the band's new album in September.
The new album will be Hard-Fi's first release since 2007's 'Once Upon a Time In The West'.
