Justin Timberlake: I Haven't Spoken To Britney Spears For Ten Years

Justin Timberlake has revealed that he hasn't spoken to his former girlfriend Britney Spears for a decade.

The former N*Sync star enjoyed a high profile three-year romance with Spears before the pair split in 2002.

It had previously been reported that Timberlake had helped Spears during her well-publicised mental breakdown, but he has now revealed that the former couple had no contact.

He told Vanity Fair: “I wish her the best - that goes without saying. We haven’t spoken in nine or 10 years.

“We were two birds of the same feather - small-town kids, doing the same thing. But then you become adults, and the way you were as kids doesn’t make any sense.

“I won’t speak on her, but at least for me, I was a totally different person.”

Timberlake also admitted that he and Spears were fortunate to be part of a such a powerful time in music with their respective projects.
