Kasabian: New Album Is The Best We Have Ever Done

Kasabian have revealed that their new album is the best they have ever done.

The Leicester band are currently putting the finishing touches to the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2009’s ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’.

''The last one [album] was the concept of the whole world of 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum' and the tunes were experimental and out there. I've done that now. Every band needs one of those, a 'Sgt. Pepper' or 'A Satanic Majesty's Request'. I've done that now. On the new album, every track is a proper tune," guitarist Serge Pizzorno told the Daily Record.

He added: I wrote the album from start to finish in three or four months. It was a really short space of time and it's an incredible album, the best we have ever done by miles."

Meanwhile, Kasabian have announced details of an intimate UK tour, which is set to take place in June.
