The Arctic Monkeys look set to be caught in the centre of a record label battle, it has been reported.
The Sheffield band’s contract with music label Domino is set to end after they finish the current promotional duties for latest album ‘Suck It And See’.
A source told The Sun: ‘‘The boys' four-album deal is nearly finished and their management are ready to meet labels who fancy picking them up. Signing the Arctics would be a huge coup for anyone right now, because they are guaranteed to sell huge numbers.’’
Adding: "They have a great relationship with Domino because the founder Laurence Bell has always given them a lot of creative control.
"And they could re-sign with the firm but now Domino face competition from the major labels, who are keen to wade in. It could be a huge bun fight."
The Arctic Monkeys will embark on a full UK Autumn tour later this year in promotion with their latest album ‘Suck It And See’.
Tickets are on sale now. For more details and to buy Arctic Monkeys tickets, check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
