Luther's Idris Elba To Join The Bullitts At Big Chill Festival 2011

The Bullitts have announced that British actor Idris Elba shall join them on the Deer Park Stage at The Big Chill festival this weekend (August 4-7).

The actor, who has appeared in The Office, The Wire and Luther, will appear on stage with the band, as well as musician Jay Electronica and actress Lucy Lui.

Not just a band or an album, The Bullitts is a 360 degree project centred around a narrative focused on the fictional character Amelia Sparks, created by producer Jeymes Samuel. Amelia Sparks’ story is told through video and audio by continually changing cast of guest vocalists and performers.

Tori Amos and Mos Def have previously been involved in the project, and Elba, Electronica and Lui are the latest to join the collaboration.

Kanye West, James Blake, The Chemical Brothers, Empire Of The Sun, Example, Calvin Harris, Jamie Woon, Hercules & Love Affair and Jessie J are also set to play the festival at Eastnor Castle, Ledbury this weekend.
