Noel Gallagher: Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Green Day Should Play Oasis Tracks

Noel Gallagher has revealed that he will be playing a collection of Oasis material on his upcoming tour at the end of the year and says band's like Radiohead should do the same.

The singer, whose UK tour sold out in under six minutes on Friday (August 5), said the tour will include 'about four songs'.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Gallagher justified playing Oasis tracks: ''I've always thought most bands should play Oasis songs, anyway. The Foo Fighters should definitely do a couple. Green Day could do even more than one or two. Radiohead? I mean, let's face it. It'd be a better night out.''

During the interview Noel also spoke about his transition from arena tours to smaller, intimate venues: ''People keep saying, 'Oh, it'll be great to get out of your comfort zone'. It's like, 'F*ck you!' Get out of your f*cking comfort zone! It f*cking took me 20 years to build a comfort zone. I have no f*cking intention of stepping outside of mine. Not for no f*cker. That's f*cking gone! F*cking comfort zone b*stard.''

Gallagher and his band will play a total of three live dates, kicking off at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on October 23, Edinburgh's Usher Hall (27) and concluding at London's Hammersmith Apollo on October 29.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - 'The Death Of You And Me':
