Eminem has made £2 million from his headline appearances at this weekend's V festival, it has been reported.
The rapper, who headlined the festival over the weekend (August 20-21) at Weston Park in Staffordshire and Chelmsford’s Hydlands Park, has made a £1 million profit from each gig, reports The Sun.
A source told the newspaper: ''Eminem is a smart guy. Him and his management know they'll make cash quicker and without the hassle of organising and promoting gigs. He has few overheads. He only needs roadies and a DJ."
Rihanna, who joined Eminem on stage for ‘Love The Way You Lie’, was also paid £5000,000 for each of her appearances at the festival. Making it the most expensive year for artist payouts in the festivals 16-year history.
