The promoter behind the much-criticised Michael Jackson tribute concert has defended the event amid a storm of criticism from his fans.
The concert at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on October 8 has also come under fire Jackson's brothers, Jermaine and Randy, who said its timing was “inappropriate”.
Speaking to BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat, Chris Hunt of Global Live Events said he understood fans' feelings but insisted the concert would go ahead.
"We have the greatest respect for the fans," he said. "We've been listening to the fans. I think what's happened is that there's been a campaign, which some of them have listened to and haven't heard our responses to it yet.
"This concert will sell out either very quickly or quickly. We have no worries about it at all."
Tickets for Michael Forever went on sale today (August 24).
The line-up currently includes Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Leona Lewis and Beyonce, who will perform via a satellite link.
