30 Second To Mars are making a film about their legal tussle with EMI.
The band, fronted by Jared Leto, clashed with their record label over their 2009 album 'This Is War' following EMI's £3.2billion take over by Terra Firma.
US music industry mogul Bob Lefsetz said he had spoken to Leto recently and that he confirmed that plans for a film were in place.
“He's [Leto] making a movie about 30 Seconds To Mars and its fight with EMI in the wake of the Terra Firma takeover,” Lefsetz wrote on his blog.
“They were bugging me eons ago, but then faded away, I saw the album came out, I figured the film was shelved. But then Jared himself tracked me down, said it was still on and would I come on camera and testify.”
EMI threatened to sue the band for $30million after they attempted to leave the record label following the Terra Firma takeover in 2007. The dispute was later dropped and 'This Is War' was released as planned.
