Michael Jackson Naked Photo Shown At Death Trial

A naked photo of Michael Jackson's body has been shown at the trial of the doctor charged with his involuntary manslaughter.

The image, taken moments after the late singer was pronounced dead, shows Jackson lying on a hospital bed.

Dr Christopher Rogers, who conducted the autopsy on Jackson's body, said he believed the star was “healthier than the average person his age”.

He also said he believed it was unreasonable to believe that Jackson could have given himself a fatal dose of the anaesthetic propofol, which Dr Conrad Murray's defence have claimed.

"In order for Mr Jackson to have administered the propofol to himself, you would have to assume he woke up and although he was under the influence of ... propofol and other sedatives, he was somehow able to administer propofol to himself," Dr Rogers said.

"Then he stops breathing and all of this takes place in a two-minute period of time. To me, that scenario seems less reasonable."

When asked what he thought the likely scenario was, Dr Rogers suggested Dr Murray had overdosed the singer after inaccurately estimating how much of the drug he had given Jackson, reports the Daily Mirror.

Dr Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison.
