Katy Perry Covers Adele's 'Someone Like You' - Video

Katy Perry covered Adele's hit 'Someone Like You' during her recent headline show at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena (October 12).

The singer, who kicked off her current UK tour earlier this month, paid tribute to Adele incorporating her number one track with her own 'The One That Got Away'.

Katy Perry tweeted fans when she arrived in England: FINALLY! Beloved ENGLAND! 1st thing I did was stuff me gob w/some Yorkshire puddings & met pies from Silversmiths in Sheffield. Ah bless."

Meanwhile, Adele leads the way for nominations at this year’s American Music Awards.

The London singer has been nominated for Artist Of The Year, Favourite Female Artist, Favourite Adult Contemporary Artist and Favourite Album for ‘21’.

Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Katy Perry and Rihanna are also competing for three awards on the night.
