    The Stone Roses' Ian Brown Confirms Future Solo Plans

    Ian Brown has revealed that the plans to carry on his solo career despite his recent reunion with The Stone Roses.

    The band, who announced their reunion at a press conference on Tuesday (October 18) will play two hometown shows at Manchester's Heaton Park on June 29 and 30, as well as going on an extensive world tour.

    After confirming that he will carry on with his solo material, Ian issued a statement on The Stone Roses' official website: ''I hope everybody is happy to hear of the reunification of the Roses. This doesn't mean there won't be more solo stuff in the future. Thanks - 1 love.''

    Original members - frontman Ian Brown, guitarist John Squire, bassist Mani and drummer Reni  -  revealed that they have already started rehearsing for the tour, which won't get underway until the summer of 2012.
