Katy Perry has revealed that she refused to replace Kelly Rowland on last weekend's X Factor.
The singer, who is currently on tour in the UK, said she told ITV bosses that she would not stand in due to judge Kelly Rowland being sick.
Katy Perry insisted that she could not rearrange her schedule as she was playing at Aberdeen's Granite City that night .
She said: “I would have loved to but I just didn’t have time. I might have felt out of the loop as the show is not at the beginning.”
The former Destiny’s Child member cancelled her appearance on Saturday and Sunday nights (October 29) show.
Speaking to The Sun, Rowland said: "I'm so sick — I have no idea what is wrong with me, but I have the worst sore throat.
"I've been in tears all week. It got so bad that I stopped eating and drinking and got so dehydrated the doctor put me on a drip.
Former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke replaced Rowland instead.
