Singer Andy Williams has been diagnosed with cancer.
The 83-year-old singer, known for tracks 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You' and 'Music To Watch Girls By', was diagnosed with cancer of the bladder last month and has started a program of chemotherapy, reports the National Inquirer.
A source described the singer’s current condition: "Andy got the diagnosis of invasive bladder cancer very recently. That means his cancer has invaded the lining of his bladder, but doctors weren't sure yet whether it had spread to other parts of his body."
Adding: "If the chemo shrinks the tumors, doctors will surgically remove Andy's bladder. Andy is in for the fight of his life."
Williams has released a total of 18 albums throughout his celebrated career.
