You Me At Six: Coldplay Are One Of The Best Bands Of All Time - Video

You Me At Six have revealed that they believe that Coldplay are 'one of the best bands of all time'.

The band, who released latest album 'Sinners Never Sleep' back in October, insisted that everyone likes at least one Coldplay track

Frontman Josh Franceschi told Absolute Radio: "I saw Coldplay the other night and they are the best band of all time."

Guitarist Max Helyer continued: "You know with Chris Martin and you hear that acoustic guitar part in 'Yellow'? He kicks it off second song in and it's probably their biggest song, you just go, 'Wow, this hour and a half is going to be full of hits'. And it was."

Franceschi added: "After that show I did a thing afterwards where I said I wish I'd written 'Fix You'. Then some kid on Twitter was like, 'I can't believe you like Coldplay. They're the blah, blah band in the world' - like the worst band or whatever.

"I was just like, 'How are you alive and functioning like a human?' I think everybody in the world likes at least one Coldplay song. There's a song in there for everyone on any level.

"They're the biggest band in the world right now. Their last album went to number one across the world, so they're the ones having the last laugh, right?!"

Meanwhile. You Me At Six have extended their UK tour, which is set to take place in 2012

The band will now play O2 Apollo Manchester on March 28 and 29, Birmingham Ballroom on March 31 and April 1 and O2 Academy Brixton on April 2 and 3.

The tour will see the band perform tracks from their forthcoming new album 'Sinners Never Sleep', released on October 3.
