Daniel Radcliffe has defended Lana Del Rey's recent performance on Saturday Night Live.
The rising star appeared on the established US show on Saturday night (January 14), where she performed tracks 'Video Games' and 'Blue Jeans.
Actress Lewis took to Twitter to slam the singer's performance: ''Wow watching this 'singer' on SNL is like watching a 12 yearold in their bedroom when theyre pretending to sing and perform. #signofourtimes.''
According to the BBC the Harry Potter actor, who was presenting the show, has stepped in to hit back at Lana Del Rey's critics.
It was unfortunate that people seemed to turn on her so quickly. I also think people are making it about things other than the performance.
He added: "If you read what people are saying about her online, it's all about her past and her family and stuff that's nobody else's business. I don't think it [her performance] warranted anywhere near that reaction."
Lana Del Rey's forthcoming debut album 'Born To Die', is set for release January 30 in the UK and June 31 in the US.
