Blur frontman Damon Albarn has revealed that future Blur material is a possibility - but it is all dependent on their summer show in Hyde Park.
Earlier this year, following the band collecting the Outstanding Contribution award at this year's BRIT Awards, Damon indicated that Blur's Hyde Park show would be band's last, and said it would have been the end to the band he would have hoped for.
He later retracted the statement, saying he had been misquoted. He has no spoken of his (still rather non-committal) plans for Blur's future.
"I love being in that band," he is quoted as saying. "When I’m in the middle of it I forget about all the pretentious angst I have about it and have a brilliant time."
"We all want to do the gig and see how we feel after that."
Damon also recently suggest that his second band, Gorillaz, could continue without the input of the band's animator, Jamie Hewlett.
